By reducing surface texture and airflow disturbance around the instep, drag is lowered compared to conventional closure systems. The current version of this product features an improved heel strap: instead of the loop shown on the outside in the product images, an inner webbing strap has been added. This change ensures the shoes stay in a better horizontal position when attached to the bike with elastic bands for a fast transition (flying mount).
