Cádomotus supports the next generation. Whether kids are skating in the park with their friends or working on their form and speed on the track daily, we have the right equipment for them. Our inline skate collection for children is aimed at fun, young talent and growing ambitions.

We’re putting much effort into developing the best inline skates for kids. It would be a shame if they lost their joy for skating because of sore feet. We use high-quality lasts and materials to make our shoes as comfortable as possible to avoid painful pressure points. We are constantly thinking about the needs of children in every phase of their development—high shoes, followed by lower shoes, four or three wheels. With Cádomotus inline skates, kids profit from our experience in the top segment of the market and our passion for the new generation.

    Affordable

We are always looking for ways to keep equipment affordable for parents. With our Resizer Insoles, you can use a skate for a couple of years in a row. Our Alpha Y helmet is a quality helmet that you can use for inline skating, but it is certified for use at the skating rink. Two in one, less expensive and better quality.

Our Rookie collection is a well-thought-out concept in which the sizes of the wheels and the size of the frame grow with your child. The inline skates can mount three or four wheels, so you can learn different skills faster.

If you are ambitious, you can choose our lightweight magnesium frame. And with time, some more practice, and growth, you are ready for our Pro collection.

    FAQs

Luckily inline skating is not as hard as you might think. But it is good to know the basics before you go on a public road. The most important things are, to be able to keep your balance, know how to brake and make a corner. To learn these basics, it is a good idea to take some lessons. The best thing to do is to find an inline skate school or an inline skate club. If there aren’t any close to you, you can also find inline-skate courses online.

Once your balance is on key, you know how to brake, and you can do a step- or cross-over, you can start working on your position and technique. When you can maintain a low position, your push-off will be more effective, you can make more speed, and inline-skating will be more fun. For every step in your development, Cádomotus has a matching shoe. You can go from a higher shoe and smaller wheels to a semi-high shoe with slightly bigger wheels – you can buy a frame that will fit different size wheels – and end with a professional low shoe.

When you bend your ankles and knees, it will get easier.  But you have to use your strength and you will get tired faster. That’s why we made two versions of the Cádomotus Rookie: the Rookie One and the Rookie Two. The One has a lower shoe and the Two has a higher shoe. Both have the same sturdy fiberglass boot shell which supports your feet well. The higher shoe offers a bit more support for kids who are not stable yet or still lack a bit of strength. That’s why kids who start with the Rookie Two will gain more confidence and will make more progress in a shorter amount of time.

Want to improve your speed? Nothing holds you back with the lower shoe of the Rookie One. Now it comes down to skills, power, and endurance! The Rookie Two is perfect for kids who are a bit more experienced and who want to take their training and performance to the next level.

The number of wheels will determine the properties of your skate, like speed, agility, grip and stability.

A frame with three wheels makes it easier to learn to steer, to make tight corners or to slalom around pylons. Inline skates with three wheels are agile and light. You can accelerate and gain speed fast, and you will be faster in a short sprint. It also helps you to make a double push. This skill – two pushing phases in the same stride, pushing your leg inside and then outside – is easier to master on an inline skate with three wheels.

A frame with four wheels will give you more speed and stability. You are more stable and will experience more grip when you push off because your inline skates are rolling more straight. More wheels in your frame means automatically that those wheels are a bit smaller, which makes that you’re lower to the ground and you have more balance. More wheels will wear less fast because the friction on the wheels is equally distributed.
