Returning Items from Outside the EU:
You may choose your own shipping method, but return costs are your responsibility. To avoid customs duties and VAT on return shipments, label the parcel as "Customs Documents" and include proof that the goods were originally shipped from within the EU. Acceptable documents include an original or certified UPS export declaration or documentation showing the goods were not altered. Missing documentation may result in extra charges, which are at your expense.
General warranty conditions
Cádomotus offers warranty coverage for defects caused by design or manufacturing faults. In cases of obvious production errors, issues are typically resolved by replacing the product rather than repairing it. If a structural defect is discovered within a production batch, dealers and distributors will be informed.
In case of doubt
When it’s unclear whether a defect is caused by misuse or a manufacturing issue, we will assess the case in consultation. For unique cases or claims submitted after the warranty period has expired, we may offer a goodwill solution, such as a discount on a replacement product.
Independent evaluation by dealers
Dealers and distributors are encouraged to assess warranty claims independently, using common sense. Periodic evaluations help improve this process. If needed, they are always welcome to contact us for support in specific cases.
Warranty period
We offer a one-year warranty on all our products, ensuring they meet normal standards of reliability and usability during this period.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear due to intensive use (e.g. triathlon shoes damaged at the heel from jumping off the bike before T2)
- Incorrect use, poor maintenance, or use not in line with the manual (e.g. heat deformation caused by improper heating)
- Cosmetic damage, crash damage, or deformation due to excessive temperatures
- Modifications by third parties or the use of non-Cádomotus parts
Claim procedure
Please send clear photos to allow for an initial assessment. In case of uncertainty, we may ask you to return the product. Claims cannot be accepted if the damage is found to be caused by gross negligence or intentional misuse.
Our approach
We aim to resolve clear production issues quickly and without complications. Our policy is designed to support both dealers and end users in making fair and transparent warranty decisions, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
