  • MAXIMUM POWER TRANSFER: Monocoque Carbon Shell wraps the heel and midfoot, eliminating upper deformation and energy loss during high-torque efforts.
  • RACE-SECURE FIT AT SPEED: Dual-dial micro-adjustment delivers precise tension control for long road efforts and aggressive out-of-saddle riding.
  • PERSONALIZED FIT: Heat-moldable shell construction allows fine-tuning of width, heel hold, and pressure points for stable, long-distance comfort.
  • HIGHER PEDAL EFFICIENCY: Low stack height positions the foot closer to the pedal axle, improving stability, pedal feel, and effective power transfer.
  • TRIATHLON-READY GEOMETRY: High-volume instep, rearward cleat adjustment, and an integrated fly-mount loop allow fast, controlled mounts without compromising road performance.

How to Choose Your Size:

Scan Your Feet
Follow the steps in the app. You'll receive a detailed 3D profile of both feet.

Ask our CádoWiki Live: Instant Expert (in the bottom-right corner) for your best shoe size, or:

Use the Cádomotus Size Chart
Our chart shows the length of the last—the mold your shoe is built on—not the length of your foot.
➤ Choose a size that's at least 3–5 mm longer than your longest foot for a snug, race-optimized fit.

Understand Width and Instep Height (1–5 Scale)
The app shows both measurements on a 1–5 scale:

  • 1 = very narrow / very low → choose the Narrow version
  • 2 = slightly narrow / slightly low → standard width + heat molding for fine-tuning
  • 3 = average → standard width
  • 4 = slightly wide / slightly high → standard width + heat molding for fine-tuning
  • 5 = very wide / very high → choose the Wide version

Special Fit Cases

  • Narrow or wide feet?
Width Bracket 1 → select the Narrow version.
Width Bracket 5 → select the Wide version.
Borderline wide (Bracket 4)? You can also try sizing up one size for more space before choosing Wide.
  • Low instep?
A low instep may feel loose or unsupported. This is common among elite triathletes who often use orthopedic insoles for volume control and support.
✔️ We recommend using performance insoles to optimize fit.
  • High instep?
We do not offer high-volume shoes. Riders with a high instep should use heat molding and fine-tune strap tension for comfort and circulation. Replacing the standard insole with a very thin insole can also improve the fit—bonus: it lowers the stack height.

Following these guidelines ensures a snug yet comfortable fit for optimal performance.

Cadomotus Synchro One – Carbon Shell Technology

The Performance Road Shoe. Triathlon Ready.

The Synchro One is, first and foremost, a high-performance road cycling shoe. It is engineered for pure power transfer and the precise, micro-adjustable fit demanded by competitive cyclists. However, at Cadomotus, we recognize that for a triathlete, a road shoe shouldn't be a liability in the transition area.

We have taken the structural integrity of a pro-level road shoe and integrated "triathlon-ready" geometry, creating a product that excels during the five-hour bike leg without penalizing you at the mount line.

The Engineering Story: The Geometry of Flow

1. The Foundation: The Monocoque Carbon Shell

Most road shoes are built on a flat sole with a separate upper glued on top. The Synchro One utilizes a wrap-around Carbon Shell Technology.

  • The Benefit: By wrapping the carbon around the heel and the sides of the foot, we eliminate the "energy leak" found in soft-upper road shoes.

  • The Result: When you are out of the saddle, the shoe doesn't just support your foot; it becomes a rigid extension of the crank arm.

2. The Entry: The High-Volume Instep

Engineering a shoe that stays secure at 180km but opens wide for a required fly mount in T1 for triathletes is a contradiction. We solved this by re-profiling the instep throat.

  • The Tech: We widened the aperture and optimized the tongue's "stay-open" memory.

  • The Result: A "blind entry" target. Your foot finds the shoe without you looking down, maintaining your peripheral vision—and your safety—at the mount line.

3. The Interface: The Rearward Vector (3-Bolt)

Standard road shoes follow a traditional "ball of the foot" cleat placement. The Synchro One recognizes the reality of modern endurance.

  • The Tech: Extended 3-bolt slots allowing for a rearward cleat bias.

  • The Result: By shifting the cleat back, we reduce the lever arm on the Achilles tendon and calf muscles. You aren't just faster on the bike; if you're a triathlete, you are "saving" your run. This is the definition of Perfect Timing.

4. The Connection: The Integrated Fly-Mount Loop

This isn't an afterthought; it’s structural.

  • The Tech: The loop is anchored into the medial side of the upper, not just stitched at the heel.

  • The Result: When the shoe is rubber-banded to your bike frame, it sits perfectly horizontal. It won't sag, it won't flip. It stays in position until the millisecond your foot enters. Zero Interruption.

FAQs

Yes. The Syncro One CS™ is available in three widths: narrow, standard, and wide. Combined with the heat-moldable carbon shell sole, this allows us to accommodate virtually all foot types, including specific problem areas such as fallen arches or hallux valgus. If your foot width is at the extreme end of the spectrum (very narrow or very wide), choosing the corresponding width will give the best fit and stability.

A Volumental foot scan provides accurate insight into the length and width of your feet. If the scan shows that your foot width is at the very narrow or very wide end of the spectrum, we recommend choosing the narrow or wide version of the Syncro One CS™. For most athletes, the standard width will be suitable. For best results, we advise reading our guide on when and how to scan your feet.

Standard shoes use a flat sole with a soft upper glued to it; when you push hard, the upper stretches and energy is lost. The Synchro One’s carbon wraps around the heel and sides. This creates a structural cradle that supports the foot during the entire 360-degree pedal stroke. It provides superior lateral stability and ensures that every watt you produce is transferred directly to the drivetrain.

Yes. Unlike many high-performance road shoes, the Synchro One is "Transition Ready." We have engineered a high-volume instep throat and a medially-anchored Fly-Mount Loop. This ensures the shoe stays perfectly horizontal when rubber-banded to the bike, allowing for a "blind entry" at the mount line without the shoe sagging or flipping.

Yes. The carbon shell technology is designed to be refined. By following our specific heating protocol, the heel cup and longitudinal arch can be shaped to the unique contours of your foot. This is particularly effective for athletes with narrow heels or specific bony protrusions who need a "second-skin" fit without sacrificing the rigidity of the carbon.
