How to Measure Your Foot for the Right Size of Ice Skates or Boots

To select the correct size from our chart, follow these steps:
-
Measure Your Foot Length
- Place your heel against a wall on a flat surface.
- Lay a ruler or measuring tape along the floor, starting at the wall.
- Stand with your full weight on both feet and measure to the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure both feet and use the longer measurement.
-
Choose the Right Size from the Chart
- Our size chart shows the length of the last (the mold the boot is built on), not the foot length.
- One last length fits a range of foot lengths. Look up your measured foot length in the Fits foot length column and read off your size.
- Skate boots are fitted closer than shoes: we allow 2–3 mm of room, not more. A snug boot gives control and power transfer.
-
Adjust for Wide Feet
- On the edge between two sizes, or if you have wide feet, we recommend choosing one size larger for a more comfortable fit.
Following these guidelines ensures a snug yet comfortable fit for optimal performance on the ice.
